Reject the Boy Scouts of America's anti-gay policy on adults

My brother is gay and was in Boy Scouts, it gave him and my Dad a bonding experience like no other. What I don't get is WHY do you want to take that away from people or families? So my brother happens to love another man, it in no way changes the AMAZING outstanding person he is. And this boy gets time with his mothers and I know from being around the scouts when my brother was one that the time you have, the things you learn together are priceless. You will never get that time back again, and we should be praising our parents for being involved, many parents don't give a damn or let their kids do whatever they want now a days. So instead of tearing families apart and teaching them discrimination or basically forcing them to be someone they are not is wrong. The boy Scouts mission "is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law"

The Oath and Laws include
On my honor I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country
and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
and be morally straight (I left a few things out cause it really doesn't pertain).
A Scout must be Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Courteous, Friendly, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, Reverent.

Well I am sorry Troop 512 of Converse, TX what you are doing is NONE OF THIS! Yes this boy and his Mothers are Extremely Brave for speaking out. But shame on your troop, the Boy Scouts and every other person who wants to exclude someone on sexual orientation. I am Christian, and God loves us all. You self righteous people who think that love can only exist between a man and a woman and that because someone is "not the societies norm" need to wake up! We have priests that molest little boys, yet would you have a problem if they wanted to become a scout leader? So stop all your hypocrisy and support the fact that these mothers are actually taking an interest in their son's lives. Especially when there are SO many children who will never get that kind of love. Stop the Ignorance, Stop the hate. Its very simple. Please sign the Petition and put a stop to all the hate and ignorance.

The 114th Congress, Can we Please have some Balance back?

On Election Day 2014, “We the People" overpoweringly rejected the radical policies enacted by President Obama and his Democrat Senate. Their arrogance stirred a deep resolve among many patriotic citizens of ALL parties (and those with no party), “WE THE PEOPLE” have had enough and sent a message to stop them from reshaping the United States of America into a socialist nation. We now have a Republican House and Senate. With Harry Reid being dethroned from his make believe throne he can NO LONGER employ the so-called "nuclear option" to render the minority party incapable of having power! Today January 6th, 2015 the 114th congress will convene, and the congress will raise their right hands and take the oath of office (1884).

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God."

I am going to go ahead and say what MANY Americans are thinking, the previous Democrat Senate and President have solemnly broke their oath to this country. How shall I count the ways . . . Executive Orders, Obamacare, NSA Domestic spying on EVERYDAY citizens, Allowing the Fed FREE Rein to do as they please, Forced Unionism, Leaking private, confidential information that can/will put Americans Domestic and Internationally in Danger, Countless Cover ups and Scandals and the list goes on and on . . The fact is (and it appears Americans are finally seeing this), our Constitution, the rule of law, and the moral and social foundations of our society which were put into place so the Executive Branches have a balance of power, in other words not give any one Branch too much power to overrule, employ “nuclear options”, signing Executive Orders and ignoring the people. These important laws enacted by our Founding Fathers have never been under such overwhelming attack as we have seen over the past six years! Well as of today, I have faith that our 114th congress will start breaking ground to make the changes we need to get our Country back on track! I know I am ready, we live in a country that was founded on freedoms, and now those are being taken away, or at least attempting to be, even now Mr. President is threatening to overrule by the “power of the pen”, in other words Executive Orders. We no longer want laws shoved down our throats that we have NO say in, WE THE PEOPLE SPOKE Mr. President I sincerely hope you heard us LOUD AND CLEAR. If not, I truly fear for this country. So it is my honor to say WELCOME to the 114th Congress of the United States!

Well Done, Well Done!

After listening to the President give The State of the Union, I will give him this - he is an excellent speaker, very charismatic and he knows how to get an emotional response. Hell even I was moved. But I remember that every year he promises many of the same things, or he re-words things to make them sound better to the American People. And as I predicted he had to throw in his Executive Orders, if congress did not work together, a bully tactic and threat to congress. However to the average person watching it sounds like he is swooping in as the good guy. NOT TRUE! If congress doesn't pass something HE approves that's when the Executive Orders and his dictator pen come out.
Many of those "tax reforms" code word - TAX HIKES, guess what folks the tax hikes that were only promised on the rich, they are being applied to everyone. Did you take a look at your first pay check of 2013? If not I encourage you to do so.
I get it, I get why people are so enthralled by this man, they only hear him speak. Like I said, he almost had me believing his lies tonight. But it is time for America to wake up. The President was right about one thing, it's not to late - WE CAN STILL CHANGE THIS AROUND!
We are not going to have a strong military, we are not going to cut our deficit, if the minimum wage is going to raised, well there goes even more jobs. The President did a great job tonight of putting on a Pro-American front. Yet almost everything he has done, has been just the opposite.
For those that bought into his lies, well good for you. It is only a matter of time before (it is still a mystery to me how people cannot see what is already happening to this country) the full impact of what this President is doing to this country will begin to effect everyone, and not only you, but your children and their children will feel the impacts. The days of our rights are slowly being taken from us, from the right to choose our health care to the right to bear arms. Legislation is being looked at to tax those who bought energy efficient cars, yet not so long ago, you were given a tax break, now you'll be taxed.
So I say Mr. President put your money where your mouth is, where the hell are our jobs? Where is the deficit you were supposed to cut in half? Where the HELL is your budget? Isn't it the law? Oh, but far be it from me to tell you how to run your country, the country you are running into the ground. But how dare anyone speak out against you.

A New World Order, or 2013?

As Americas gather tonight to watch President Obama give the first State of Union address of his second term, I have to wonder what will be on people’s minds.
The impending sequesters, the massive cuts and it will mean on our defense budget, among others? The 7.9% unemployment rate that has been at a standstill for the past three months or the slow economic growth and our astounding debt. Not the mention that we still have not regained our downgraded status. Or that growth was adjusted for all of 2012 based on two good spending months we had over the holidays.
Or maybe the use of drones that are being used to kill Americans overseas without just cause, but the fact the our President is willing to give terrorists such as Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Ramzi Bin al-Shibh, Walid bin Attash, Ali Abdul Aziz Ali and Mustafa Ahmed al-Hawsawi the same rights as American citizens are to be given such as due process in a court of law. Even though these same terrorists gave no such regards to the American’s and innocent people they killed in the name of Islam.

Will Americans be thinking about their 2nd amendment rights and the 23 Executive Orders the President has asked for on Gun Control because “It needs to be done now”? But with closer examination it has been established that none of those 23 Executive Orders would have done nothing to stop that awful shootings in Newton CT. What about Obama Care, or is it the Affordable Health Care Act? This is now proving to be more expensive, in both raised taxes, fees and all around premiums. I don’t recall having a vote in that either.

There is more promise of Executive Orders from the President “if congress can’s get something passed soon” There is speculation that the President plans to get this message across tonight in The State of the Union, in front of all America to watch. What a shrewd move, don’t you think?

After all why would we want to upset an already fragile economy? At least that is what you will hear Mr. President say tonight.

What you won’t hear is fault in the growth of the economy and jobs; you will hear that we are on a (false) road to recovery. You won’t hear about the taxes he needs to pass to pay for spending that hasn’t even taken place yet, but is promised. You won’t hear about how the massive cuts in our defense have put our Nation at a weakness.

Now after many warnings N. Korea launched their 3rd nuclear test, and many are surprised.

In the Presidents first term the world watched, they waited to see how this president would act toward foreign and domestic policy. The Arab spring took place and America calmly took a back seat for once, jumping in only once. New leaders arose in the Middle East, nuclear threats were tested, and America’s relationship with Israel was strained. All the while the world watched as the American people seemed to worship a new God. In one swift move we managed to capture Osama Bin Laden, but even that was so fast it was like it didn’t even happen. America’s prosper didn’t seem to be as it once was, and the Great Nation was staying out of foreign policy or so it seemed.

September 11, 2012 The American Diplomatic mission in Benghazi was attacked by Islamist militants. Four people were murdered, including Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens. Once again there was little response for the White House. Despite calls for investigations and even impeachment of the president AFTER he was re-elected, today, February 12, 2012, the families have received no closure from these attacks.

As the President enters his second term, the world waited and watched throughout his first term. The world watched as the President cut back America’s defense and military, despite being in an unstable environment, with possible nuclear arms. The world watch as America did nothing in retaliation to attacks on American targets. The world watched as this new President cut back our nuclear program to half of what it has ever been, despite the clear warnings of a nuclear threat from N. Korea and Iran. The World watched with wonder as the people of America were putty in the new Presidents hands, despite his slow economic job growth and his inability to get little accomplished in his first term.

I have put off writing in this blog for a while, and believe me it’s not for lack of content. I have been so overwhelmed with information I had no idea where to start. There are so many issues that we are facing going into this Presidents 2nd term. Will people wake up and see what is truly going on? I can understand that most people probably don’t spend hours reading and researching daily like I do, it’s also part of why I have been unable to get anything written down in here. But all it takes is to look up a few things and click on a few credible sources within there and you will find that we are in a shit ton of trouble and if America doesn’t wake up, when the alarm does go off it will be screaming in your face.

Budget Cuts or a Load of Crap?

The lovely state I live in has been the first to U.S. state to suspend its 2012 presidential preference primary election. This was signed into law by Governor Christine Gregoire (D)due to budget constraints. Do not confuse this with the actual election for the president, this is just the primaries. So basically what this means for Washington voters this year is that WE WILL NOT BE RECEIVING a Presidential Preference Primary Ballot in the mail.

Coming from a state that did go vote at an actual location, this does not seem like a big deal, however, I believe that this is just a tactic to restrict voting. For many people it will be hard to get time off work, wait in line (believe me there will be a line, if people know what to do and where to go). In my home state it took somewhere between 1-2 hours to vote. And I believe this will be worse, because Washington is not familiar with this process. Really Ms.  Gregoire is this really saving money?
So to get the information out on the table here it is Republican Precinct Caucuses are being held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 in ten locations around Clark County

Here is the bottom line for any registered voter in Clark County that would like to have the opportunity to state their preference for the Republican Presidential Nominee...there will be no ballot arriving in your mailbox....you must do so by attending your local caucus. The Clark County Republican Party had no involvement in the decision to cancel the Presidential Primary mail ballot. This was a decision made by the Legislature and approved by the Governor. Again WE THANK YOU MS. GREGOIRE!

About the Caucuses

You live in a voting "precinct". Each location will have as many as 10 - 30 precincts meeting in what is called a Caucus Cluster. If you do not know your precinct go to this website http://wei.secstate.wa.gov/olvrsite/  Or call  360-397-2345

Below is a list of 10 Republican Precinct Caucus locations. Your "all volunteer" Clark County Republican Party has organized and financed these caucuses for your participation. We hope you will attend and be part of this very important political process. Our State and our Nation are counting on your participation! It is extremely important that you Vote!
Registration at each location will start at 9:00 AM, followed by a presidential candidate preference poll, issues discussions and the election of delegates (and alternate delegates in the event the delegate is unable to fulfill their committment). There is no cost to attend the caucuses.

Delegates elected at the March 3, 2012 precinct caucuses will go on as delegates to the County Convention being held on Saturday March 31, 2012 at the Hilton Hotel, 301 W. 6th Street, Vancouver. There is a $10.00 registration fee payable at the door.
Caucus Delegates and other registered voters hoping to attend the State Convention as delegates
( Tacoma on May 30 - June 2nd) must first be elected as delegates at the County Convention. Registration starts at 8:00 AM. The Convention will conclude at 5:00 PM.

With the increasing recognition of the importance of SW Washington, most statewide and local elected officials and candidates are likely to attend.

ABOUT THE REPUBLICAN STATE & NATIONAL CONVENTIONS

The Republican State Convention will be held in Tacoma, WA on May 30 - June 2, and the Republican National Convention in Tampa. FL August 27- 30. This year, Clark County has been allocated 94 Delegates and an equal number of Alternates, elected at the county convention to the state convention, with three delegates and Alternates elected there to the national Convention from the 3rd Congressional District.

WSRP State Chair Kirby Wilbur believes Republicans are likely to turn out in record numbers for both the Caucuses and County Conventions with the likelihood of electing a Republican Governor and picking up numerous state house and senate seats in 2012. With redistricting and early organizing, Republicans can possibly locally pick up two state house seats.

J. M. (Mike) Gaston, Executive Director
Clark County Republican Party

If you have questions regarding the upcoming caucuses or conventions, please email Chairman Brandon Vick at

The First Amendment and How Far is to Far

In early March 2010, the Supreme Court handed down a ruling of 8-1 in favor Fred Phelps and his Westboro Baptist Church. In case some of you have never heard of this notorious crowd of worshipers, they express their disapproval of the wickedness of modern America by the unpleasant practice of picketing funerals, particularly those of soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Funny the very people these people are picketing would not even be able to picket if those people had not died for their freedom.

The church's homophobia, anti-Catholics, and sense of spiritual superiority are communicated in offensive picket signs that read, "God Hates Fags," "Priests Rape Boys" and "You're Going to Hell."
What is sad is that the ruling by the Supreme Court of 8-1 was in favor of this to go on under free speech. What is even worse, is that these people call themselves “people of God” The WBC is not affiliated with any known Baptist conventions or associations. However, the church describes itself as following Primitive Baptist and Calvinist principles, though mainstream Primitive Baptists reject the WBC and Phelps.

Now looking into definition of a hate crime “A hate crime is usually defined by state law as one that involves threats, harassment, or physical harm and is motivated by prejudice against someone's race, color, religion, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation or physical or mental disability.”

It is interesting that the definition of a hate crime would cover exactly what Fred Phelps and his Westboro Baptist Church are doing. However, the lovely justices of the Supreme Court found it in their hearts to rule in favor of these heartless bastards.

The legislation also goes on to say:
It is the right of every person, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, ethnicity, or physical or mental disability, to be secure and protected from threats of reasonable fear, intimidation, harassment, and physical harm caused by activities of groups and individuals.

Interesting stuff. I highly doubt that our founding fathers wanted the first amendment used a tool of harassment, and intimidation against those who serve and protect our country. Not to mention those who are homosexual, of a different religion, or for any reason they feel necessary. In fact, these vengeful people even considered picketing the funeral of the 9-year-old girl, Christina-Taylor Green who was shot and killed at the massacre where congressional representative Gabrielle Giffords was shot along with U.S. District Judge John Roll and Giffords' community outreach director Gabe Zimmerman who both were killed. The catch, they agreed not to protest the girl’s funeral in exchange for airtime with 102.1 The Edge in Toronto, Canada, and an interview with KXXT-AM in Phoenix, Ariz. on Saturday morning. They did however picket the funeral of U.S. District Judge John Roll.

Although I am a strong believer of the first amendment, I also believe that it is a person’s right to mourn peacefully the death of a loved one. I believe it is the right of every person to assemble peacefully, and to freedom of religion, as long as it is not hurting anyone.

So the first amendment says:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

As you can see this is a very broad statement, and now that we have hate crimes and hate laws in effect, maybe we should incorporate hate speech. Where our Hate crime laws so clearly state that this is harassment, and is causing emotional distress against families of mourners, how can our Supreme Court justify this as constitutional. Sickening I know.

The issue that bothers me the most here, is not the fact that this is freedom of speech, but the actions of the freedom of speech, these actions are in fact causing emotional distress, to people who are already in emotional distress. Again, I will go back to the legislation of the hate crime bill

It is the right of every person, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, ethnicity, or physical or mental disability, to be secure and protected from threats of reasonable fear, intimidation, harassment, and physical harm caused by activities of groups and individuals.

All actions do have consequences, and the people suffering for the consequences are the ones who should be left alone, left to mourn, left to grieve. But no they are being made to suffer more.

Again let me remind you a large portion of the funerals these hateful people are picketing are for our American soldiers who are dying for our freedom, so these assholes can continue to protest, under an amendment that would have had Thomas Jefferson, Jon Adams, James Madison, and the others who wrote the constitution rolling in their graves.

Plain and simple this is intimidation and harassment and now after they have won their battle in the Supreme Court here is their latest picket

Seven Pennsylvania children died in a fire Tuesday (March 8) night. Westboro says the children’s deaths are linked to the recent Supreme Court decision, in which a father sued the church after it protested his slain Marine son's funeral in 2008. The family is Christian and has no relation to the group, now you tell me, harassment, hate, or vengeance.

Do you think the Supreme Court made the right decision?

A Deaf Ear to our Raising Gas Prices

In April 2010, we experienced one of the most devastating oil spill in history, the middle east is in an up roar and their governments are collapsing, in Wisconsin, 14 democrats are hiding out to avoid a vote on collective barging, we could be facing a government shut down if the house and senate cannot come to an agreement on a budget in two weeks, and did I mention Bernanke and his QE2 bond buying program. So with all of this going on, we the consumer, are paying at the pump, I am not sure about where you live, but I am paying $3.65 a gallon and that is for the cheapest gasoline, then you go to the grocery store and you see the price of fruit, vegetables, meat, everything going up in price.

If you will notice prices started going up right around November, I can account for this because this is around the time I had my surgery, when I was able to drive and get around, which was about a week, prices had gone up about ten cents a gallon. People chalked it up to the holidays, prices always go up around the holidays, but alas, this time they never went down, they kept going up, and up.

Now we have all the disturbance going on in the middle east, and you will have noticed that prices have gone up sometimes ten cents in one day alone. First of all this is ridiculous as we do not even get our main oil supply from the middle east.

With the value of our dollar decreasing, and our economy not getting any better despite what you hear, the prices at the pump are not going down any time soon. The million dollar question, what is our government doing about it?

In May 2004, The New York Times reported that congressional Democrats “were stepping up pressure on the Bush Administration to ease gasoline prices,” when prices were still under $2 a gallon. In 2006, Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) stated: “Since George Bush and Dick Cheney took over as president and vice president, gas prices have doubled…They are too cozy with the oil industry”.

Again, in 2008, then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) “blasted” the president for rising gas prices on his (and her) watch. In July 2008, ABC News asked the president what was his “short term advice for Americans about gas prices?” In April 2008, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) stated gas prices were “the number one issue facing America today.”

Since President Barack Obama was inaugurated, gas prices have been on the rise, as have home energy prices. During his term, he presided over perhaps the worst federal response to an oil spill in our nation’s history, yet there has been almost nothing said by the media as consumers face $3 a gallon gasoline at the pump in December for the first time in U.S. history and see their home heating bills soar in the winter months. How much has your bill gone up this winter????

Currently oil is over $100 a barrel and economist are saying $4 at the pump is not out of the question and is most likely a reality. $5 a gallon by 2012.... think about, can you afford to drive?

Understandably, the administration says it is trying to enforce new safety rules due to the April 20 explosion of the Deepwater Horizon drilling rig, Environmental groups say the administration is right to take its time because the Gulf disaster exposed the risks of offshore drilling.

However, the delay is hurting big oil companies such as Chevron Corp. and Royal Dutch Shell PLC, which have billions of dollars in investments tied up in Gulf projects that are on hold and are paying hundreds of thousands of dollars a day for rigs that are not allowed to drill. Smaller operators such as ATP Oil & Gas Corp., which have less flexibility to focus on projects in other regions, have been even harder hit.

The shock of the delays goes beyond the oil industry. The Gulf coast economy has been hit hard by the slowdown in drilling activity, especially because the oil spill also hurt the region's fishing and tourism industries. The Obama administration in September estimated that 8,000 to 12,000 workers could lose their jobs temporarily because of the freeze; some independent estimates have been much higher.

The slowdown also has long-term implications for U.S. oil production. The Energy Information Administration, the research arm of the Department of Energy, predicted that domestic offshore oil production will fall 13% this year from 2010 due to the freeze and the slow return to drilling; a year ago, the agency predicted offshore production would rise 6% in 2011. The difference: a loss of about 220,000 barrels of oil a day.

How is this helping us? Higher prices at the pump, mean higher prices for food, clothing, and all other necessities that travel by fuel and need energy. Waiting for the economy to recover, it will take a little longer, if we can not afford to drive to work, buy food, ect. Can we wait that long?

*Quick fact - many people that were re-hired after being laid off took a 20-30% pay cut.... The people that are getting re-hired are working for less.

We stimulate our economy by putting money into it, but if we cannot afford to put money back into the economy it will not be able to recover. So my question, is why where so many people shouting about gas prices back in 2004-2008, but you don't hear a single word about them now? Especially when we need to hear it the most. I am just asking you to think about it, it's your $ and your family to feed.

Are you Proud to be an American?

With the 9th anniversary of September 11th less than a week away, I have much on my mind. So much since that horrible day has changed. Most recently an over turn on the ban for Mutilating the American flag in Nebraska. Also there is a city close to the boarder in California that has allowed the US flag to be hung upside down with the Mexican flag over it. They are building a Mosque at ground zero. Nine years ago, we as a country were devastated when we were attacked on our home land, now we are fighting amongst ourselves as we have never before, we are completely divided. How can mutilating our flag, putting up a Mexican flag over our own be American? We vowed to never forget and that is exactly what we are doing, we are not one nation under God any more, we are one nation under the NAACP, OBAMA, and all the other stupid idiots that are taking America out of America. We no longer stand for what our founding fathers wrote in the constitution, our president does not even hold up our constitution. Yes I hear what the constitution has to say, but it is being taken advantage of, there is only so far you can take freedom of speech, or use use the 14th amendment to become a citizen. Desecration of our flag is NOT freedom of speech. If you are born here and your parents are not legal that should not give you the right to be a citizen. This amendment was put into place to protect the slaves - as it should have been, but the loop hole should have been closed there.
So as the 9th anniversary of the day that changed America falls upon us, think about what has really changed. Does our Independence day really matter, What are our troops really fighting for? Do we have a president that loves our nation? Are you proud to be an American?

No to The Mosque at Ground Zero

I am about religious tolerance, but for the last ten years I have slowly watched my religious freedoms go out the window. That is besides the point. The point I would like to make today is the proposed $100 million Mosque that is being build next to the burial ground of the victims of 9/11. Why there? There is a millions places you can build your super center and yet you want to build on top of a massive burial ground of thousands of people who today have never been found yet all perished there, at that place, where you are going to build a Mosque where you claim is of peace and understanding. What are you trying to get us to understand Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf? If you want us to see your peace and understanding than why not understand that the pain is still there from that horrible day on September 11, 2001. By building your Mosque you are mot creating tolerance but friction. It may not be right, but it is true. You can build a Mosque anywhere, yet you choose this location, and you seem to have no regard what so ever to the feelings of those who have lost love ones on that day or felt the terror, Yes It affected all of America, United we Stand (at least we did at the time). I know that Muslims were lost that day too, but the fact remains that it was not an attack on Muslims, but on Americans. So with your tolerance that you so preach and your wanting to be Muslim in America, then please act like it. This is America after all. Please respect what happened on that day and do not build your Mosque there.
Gamal Abd Al-Gawad, director of Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies in Cairo stated something that I think is a very valid point he stated that "Many Muslims fear that the mosque will become a shrine for Islamists, which would remind Americans of what Muslims did on 9/11,". I agree with Mr. Al-Gawad, many Muslims who may sympathize with the extremist may and I am certain will come to this Mosque and they will it as a victory center. I for one do not want to go to the world trade center site and see a Mosque and be reminded of something that was in some way a part of something terrible.
I am not gong to be politically correct here. This is not the place for a Mosque. Further more, there is talk that the Governor of New York would like to have an open discussion with the developers about possibly moving the site due to tensions over the building. So far the verdict, THEY WILL NOT MOVE! So much for tolerance. This is not about religion, this is about respect. To me, showing that you will not have an open discussion or take into consideration the feelings of those affected by 9/11, you Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf and your followers have no tolerance. If you would like to show a relationship between American's and Muslims how are you doing that by dis-respecting the feelings of the majority of Americans? Tolerance, Peace and Understandings on your terms Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf.

So I ask on behalf of many Americans, that you please take into consideration, to move your Mosque. The pain is still fresh. I know that my voice will go unheard, or I will be told I am one of intolerance, but remember I have no problem with you in my country and I would give you the same respect in your country. So please give me the same respect in mine.
On a side note, all this religious freedom that so many people are screaming about, remember who is over there fighting for our freedoms, and remember who we are fighting. Remember why we are fighting, for the very same reason almost 9 years ago this September those towers came down, we are now fighting to not have a Mosque erected at the grave site.
Did you ever think we would be having this discussion in America? Nine years ago did you think that this would have been a possibility? Think about i
